Photographing Around Richmond

Once in a while I like to take a model or few to destination shoot. Last week I took three high school seniors to Richmond to explore some vintage architectural venues. What great atmosphere we found in and around the Shockoe District. I absolutely love old buildings and narrow alley ways to envelope my subjects. The great textures from the stone and wrought iron are absolutely amazing. I recently expanded my venue range to include the greater Richmond area as possibilities for photography sessions. We can get there in less than an hour and the possibilities are endless. This senior session was a huge hit and I would love the chance to get back for headshots, or seniors sessions. If you have an interest in including the Richmond area as a venue option, lets talk! Below are some highlights from my session with the girls. We drove up to Richmond about 2 p.m. and started our session atop a parking garage in Shockoe. We used some of the streets and alleys as backdrops and ended at the Canal district. If you would like to book an on-location session in this area please visit my HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR page, or my HEADSHOT page.
